I am a close family friend of the Russell family, whom the husband unfortunately suffered a Stroke in 2024.
I am a lawyer, and formerly worked as a specialist brain injury lawyer for many years, meaning that ! have extensive experience of seeing patients and their families in clinical settings and also in observing interactions between patients and their therapists. I recall being impressed with Jack's approach and professionalism and also that he had managed to get Chris excited about therapy.
Jack is not only a physiotherapist, but more than that he seeks to understand his patients wholistically and engage with them meaningfully at their level - something which is absolutely essential in his field of work, but all too often missing. Jack built a great rapport with both Chris and all| of his family (who were going through the worst time of their lives) and his role in their rehabilitation journey should not be understated or overlooked.

Jack has provided a fantastic 1:1 service to my father who is 87 and had mobility issues. He has given my father such confidence and it’s wonderful to see him walking outside his house again. Thank you Jack.

I had the unfortunate experience of having a stroke at the age of 35, having been a regular runner and gym attendee. I was initially unable to walk or use my left hand and arm at all. Thankfully I met Jack early on in my recovery. Stroke recovery is tough, both physically and mentally, but Jack’s visits always filled me with positivity; he understood my goals and encouraged me to get the most out of every appointment . Sessions were challenging without ever feeling overwhelming or unachievable. Jack always made time to listen to my concerns in a supportive and reassuring manner. He also explained the exercises to my husband so that I could practice in between sessions with the help I needed. Eventually, Jack helped me to get back to the gym by coming along to explain how I could use the equipment safety. Jack’s support was absolutely instrumental in my recovery and I would recommend him without hesitation.
